TAFA marketplace

Il y a ceux qui on des visions et ceux qui ont en plus la volonté de les réaliser. Rachel Biel est une femme qui croit en l’art textile et elle est persuadée que le nouveaux médias peuvent être une opportunité pour cet art très féminine. Pour elle le travail en réseaux signifie :

1.    Travailler  main dans la main avec d’autres artistes textiles
2.   Utiliser internet pour faire connaitre l’art textile contemporain autour du monde

En 2010 Rachel a fondé la "Textile And Fiber Art" List ( TAFA List) pour regrouper des artistes autour du globe. Aujourd’hui on compte plus que 250 adhérentes.

Actuellement TAFA cherche des sponsors pour créer un site web, qui sera la vitrine pour tous les adhérentes.   Dans un premier temps un premier « marketplace » a été créer, permettant un premier aperçu des ce qui le futur site donnera à voir : http://www.tafamarket.com/

Some have visions others have the ability to work hard and realize them! Rachel Biel is such a great creative thinker. She believes in fiber arts and in networking in a double sense:

1.     working with others hand in hand
2.      using internet & social medias to spread the word about textile art around the world

To do so she founded in 2010 the Textile And Fiber Artistes list (TAFA list) and managed to motivate more than 250 textile artistes and crafters to be part of her vision.
