Charity shop opened by European Street Team
“We recently opened a charity shop for the European Street Team to respond to humanitarian crisis around the world: EuropeForCharity. Money may be tight, but it feels good to be still able to help with the makings of our own hands.
The response from the team has been amazing. We filled the shop in no time and had an amazing two weeks with 30 sales and collected a little over 500 USD. We transferred 250 USD of it to Architecture for Humanity for their sustainable reconstruction efforts in Pakistan. They are working on building two villages with permanent housing solutions and published a report about the progress today. The other 250 USD will be donated to the Kashf Foundation, after at least 2/3 of the shipped items arrive at their destinations.
