Exposition international du feutre d'art / international felt exposition

Très rare sont encore les événements mettant en avant l’art textile et encore plus rare ceux consacrés aux œuvres d’art en feutre de laine.  Peu connu par le grand public, le feutre est pourtant une discipline artistique à part entière. La technique ancestrale du feutrage ouvre des inépuisables possibilités. Explorées aujourd’hui par des designers et artistes textile de talent dans le monde entier il est temps d’organiser des expositions consacré à cet art !  

C’est pour cela que je suis super contente de l’extraordinaire exposition organisée par l’entreprise allemande « Filzrausch » avec le soutien de l’association de feutrière allemande « Filznetzwerk ».

Dans des lieux historiques d’une ville pittoresque en Allemagne – Göttingen – se tiendra du 16.Fevrier 2013 au  01. Avril 2013 l’exposition …in Bewegung (…en mouvement). 

L’occasion de découvrir  une région, une ville et un art !

Events highlighting textile art are yet very unusual in Europe and those devoted to felt are nearly inexistent. Felting - the most ancient technique of creating fabric - is still very few known by the common public. Most people ignore the large artistic field covered by this technique. Explored today by talented textile designers and artists all over the world it is urgent to dedicate exhibitions to this art!

This is why I'm super happy that German wool supplier "Filzrausch" in collaboration with German felters association "Filznetzwerk” organizes a great event dedicated to artistic expressions in felt.

The felt event “…in Bewegung” (…in movement) will be open to public from 16.Fevrier until 01. April 2013 in the historical rooms of an ancient spinning factory near German city Göttingen.   
A great opportunity to discover a region, a city and an art!
