London is calling - un projet hautement feutrée avec la Silk Felt Company

Ultra contente de faire partie d'un projet exaltant: du 13 au 16 mars prochain aura lieu la "Kitting and Stitching show" à l'Olympia de Londres. Yulia Badian de Silk Felt a été invité par les organisateurs pour y créer une exposition hautement artistique, intitulé  "The Mermaid Project".

Yulia, feutrière et  artiste aux multiples talents, a déjà détonné en 2013 avec une exposition extraordinaire le "Woodland Boudoir"  que j'ai adoré. Je suis donc d'autant plus excité de faire partie de la joyeuse troupe pour ce nouveau projet.

 Nous sommes 6 artistes feutrières à travailler autour de l'histoire de la petite sirène :
Yulia Badian, Lidwina Charpentier; Jill Denton; Rosi Karl-Schreiner; Caroline Merrell et moi même vont ananlyer ce compte au milles facettes et créer des œuvres inspirés et inspirants.

Bine sûr je vais profiter de cette occasion pour vous présenter ces femmes artistes que je viens de découvrir et  dont j'adore le travail. Ultra happy to be part of an exciting project: thanks to Yulia Badian from Silk Felt Company, I'll be in London at the " Kitting and Stitching Show" which is held at Olympia from 13 to 16 March 2014. Yulia, feltmaker and multi-talented artist, is invited by the organizers in order to create a highly artistic exhibition, entitled " The Mermaid Project". She already detonated in 2013 with her exhibition " Woodland Boudoir " that I just loved! That’s one reason why I'm very excited to be part of this year team. The other one is the story : as Yulia says " Little Mermaid resonates with contemporary concerns and fantasies around body image, in a superficial world where so-called 'perfection' is sought but proves to be an unattainable ideal - despite the pain of fad dieting, uncomfortable clothing and cosmetic surgery. "

Yulia Badian , Lidwina Charpentier Jill Denton ; Rosi Karl Schreiner , Caroline Merrell and myself.
